Testing around your application
Cleaning trials can assess contamination removal, difficult surfaces and drying. Inspection trials can explore part handling, magnetization and access for operator inspection.
Prepare the sample parts
Include drawings, material and manufacturing condition with the samples. For cleaning trials, preserve the contamination found in production and label the components to match the drawings.
Results for equipment selection
Process settings, loading and evaluation results help refine the cleaning sequence or inspection arrangement. The findings support fixture selection and the equipment proposal.
Prepare magnetic particle inspection samples
Identify ferromagnetic material, component geometry, inspection surfaces and the examination sequence. Provide representative variants and note how the part will be presented for operator inspection.
- Part drawing and material
- Inspection areas and fixture contact restrictions
- Examination and acceptance requirements
Prepare parts for a cleaning trial
Provide parts with representative incoming contamination. Record the planned load, surfaces to evaluate, required dryness and the particle cleanliness method if applicable. Agree sample identity and handling before comparing results.
- Incoming oil, chips or residues
- Loading, orientation and restricted contact surfaces
- Finished condition and measurement procedure
